The objective of Berg’s Tuesday Master Acting class is to expand the actor’s imagination and uncover, through personal authenticity, their most provocative, bold, spontaneous, and irreverent self.
The class pushes performers beyond safe or expected choices to access fearless, original work.
Students work with music, art, texture, and psychological gesture to generate courageous, irreverent, and provocative choices that go beyond what is written on the page.
Through a full exploration of subtext
embodied through the body, actors learn to make their internal life, imagination, and impulses physically vibrant so that they maintain a suspended state of spontaneity. This work is then developed into live
stage productions for public audiences.
This Master class is an ongoing monthly subscription. Enrollment is only open to students who have completed or are currently enrolled in our Foundation Series and who have received approval through the Berg Studios office or Berg himself.
