Berg Studios is home to a group of professional acting teachers in Los Angeles, dedicated to rigorous actor training and artistic development. Based in Los Angeles, our teachers bring real-world experience and a disciplined approach to performance for film, television, and stage.

ADRIAN LATOURELLE
FOUNDATION INSTRUCTOR
Adrian Latourelle, one of our acting teachers in Los Angeles, brings extensive experience in stage, screen, and voiceover to his work at Berg Studios, where he has taught for over a decade. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, where he trained under Earle Gister and received the Carol Dye Award, his background also includes study with Sanford Meisner and training at the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy in Russia. His work spans leading regional theaters, Off-Broadway and New York venues, as well as ongoing work in television, film, and voiceover, including Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Legend of Korra, where he voiced the evil Unalaq.
His teaching is grounded in rigorous classical training and professional experience, guiding actors to apply disciplined technique with depth, imagination, and authenticity across both stage and on-camera work.

Tessa Auberjonois
VOICE DIRECTOR
Tessa Auberjonois is a versatile actor whose work spans television, film, theatre, and voiceover. Trained at the Yale School of Drama, her screen credits include The Affair, Shameless, Lucifer, Modern Family, Law & Order, ER, and How I Met Your Father, along with numerous feature and short films. On stage, she has originated roles in new American plays and performed in classical and contemporary work Off-Broadway and at leading regional theaters including South Coast Repertory, Hartford Stage, Yale Repertory Theatre, and The Shakespeare Theatre of D.C.
Her teaching focuses on clarity of language, vocal precision, and deep engagement with text, helping actors develop expressive, specific, and truthful performances across stage, on-camera, and voice work.

CAMILLIA MONET
SCENE STUDY INSTRUCTOR
Camillia Monet is an accomplished actor and film producer whose career spans film, television, and theatre. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama with a master’s degree, her screen credits include War of the Worlds, directed by Steven Spielberg, Seabiscuit, and FX’s Emmy Award–winning series The Shield, along with numerous guest roles across network television. Her work also includes Broadway, Off-Broadway, and leading regional theaters, alongside continued work in film and television.
As part of our acting faculty, her teaching is informed by her dual perspective as both performer and producer, guiding actors to create grounded, truthful work with confidence, clarity, and authenticity across stage and on-camera performance.

SHAWNA PARDO
SCENE STUDY INSTRUCTOR
Shawna Pardo is an award-winning actor , writer, and producer trained in Michael Chekhov Technique, whose work spans theatre, film, and creative development. Her stage credits include classical and contemporary productions, work with the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and performances with The Shakespeare Players, alongside a range of independent films featured at festivals such as Slamdance and the San Francisco Black Film Festival. She has also worked in television development and collaborated on original projects across multiple media.
In her role among our acting teachers in Los Angeles, her teaching blends classical Russian theatre influences with a flexible, exploratory approach, incorporating physical work, gesture, and imaginative play to help actors uncover new layers of artistry and deepen their creative connection.

Michael Trevino
ON-CAMERA INSTRUCTOR
Michael Trevino brings a wealth of experience and passion to the world of acting and directing, with a career spanning over two decades in television and film. Best known for his captivating roles as Tyler Lockwood in The Vampire Diaries and Kyle Valenti in Roswell, New Mexico, Michael showcases his versatility from intense drama to heartfelt storytelling.
As a dedicated instructor, Michael draws on his extensive industry insights to guide aspiring actors toward success. He champions a holistic approach to auditions, blending technical precision with emotional depth to help students craft performances that resonate authentically. With hands-on experience from auditions, sets, and directing, Michael inspires confidence, encourages creative risks, and equips actors with the tools to thrive in competitive on-camera environments. Charles Michael Davis
ON-CAMERA INSTRUCTOR
Charles Michael Davis is an accomplished actor, director, and photographer known for his dynamic work across film and television. With standout performances in The Originals, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy, and Younger, Charles has built a career defined by range, presence, and emotional truth.
Charles is deeply committed to the craft. His approach to auditioning emphasizes authenticity, preparation, and confidence—helping actors move beyond “reading lines” to making bold, personal choices that stand out in the room. Drawing from years of professional experience on both sides of the camera, Charles focuses on empowering actors to trust their instincts, sharpen their point of view, and walk into auditions grounded and fearless.

CORNELL WOMACK
Shakespeare instructor
Cornell Womack studied acting at the Juilliard School of Drama. He has appeared in both Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, where he once shared the stage with a childhood hero, James Earl Jones. He has appeared in nearly 25 television shows and four films, including a recurring role on the FX series, Rescue Me, playing the character of Richie.
Cornell has a successful voice-over career, that included narrating several popular documentary series. He’s also recorded for a wide range of commercial products and brands, including Super 8 Motels, Hennessy VS Cognac, Ford, Sony Records, Planters Almonds, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. On the animation front, he’s voiced leading roles in video games and cartoons. He can also be heard as the voice on NFL Gameday Morning, on the NFL Network, which he has done for the past 4 years

Kristof Konrad
Alexander Technique Instructor
Kristof Konrad is an internationally trained actor and teacher whose work spans film, television, and physical performance. Born in Poland, he trained at the National Dramatic Academy in Warsaw, the Fersen Studio in Rome, and in the U.S. with Larry Moss, and studied with legendary masters Jerzy Grotowski and Andrzej Wajda. His screen credits include House of Cards, Red Sparrow, Angels & Demons, Independence Day, Alias, Scandal, and numerous other film and television projects. As part of our acting teachers in Los Angeles, he has taught and led intensive acting workshops internationally across Europe and North America, working with artists and institutions in major cultural centers worldwide.
His teaching focuses on acting for film and the Alexander Technique, drawing from a rigorous European training background and extensive on-camera experience to help actors develop presence, precision, and embodied truth across stage and screen.

Stephen Buescher
MOVEMENT INSTRUCTOR
Stephen Buescher is a movement specialist, director, and educator whose work spans theatre, physical performance, and actor training. He currently serves as Head of Movement for the graduate acting program at the University of California, San Diego, and has taught movement at institutions including the Yale School of Drama, American Conservatory Theater, and Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. As one of our acting teachers in Los Angeles focusing on movement, his professional work includes choreography and collaboration with leading regional theaters and artists across the country, as well as ongoing directing and development of new work.
His teaching emphasizes physical awareness, embodiment, and expressive movement, helping actors integrate voice, body, and imagination to create grounded, dynamic performances across stage and screen.
