The Acting Technique Intensive introduces the core approach used throughout Berg Studios. Led by Gregory Berger (Berg) and members of the faculty, the class focuses on building a strong technical foundation while connecting that work to the demands of film and television.
In class, actors train in script analysis, language, imagery, and performance—learning how to translate technique into work that feels active, embodied, and alive.
The process pushes actors out of their head and into their body, integrating movement, rhythm, and creative exploration while still honoring the text. Over time, actors develop work that feels imaginative, dynamic, and fully their own.
